As a student in this course, you will develop your knowledge and skills by solving and analysing real-world problems, using real-world methods and techniques. Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Drafting) are equipped with the skills to work in technical and para-professional positions within engineering companies as part of teams, using a variety of software (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Tekla, Vertex and more), applying theoretical knowledge, and working according to industry standards and Engineers Australia's Stage 1 Competency Standard for Engineering Associate; the course also caters for a smooth transition into further studies.
