The AIAS Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care offers a fully accredited entry-level program to students wanting to gain access to the education sector as an aid or assistant. Students are introduced to everything they need to know within this fast-growing and in-demand area of the education sector via a combination of onsite training and work placement.
Students touch on various learning frameworks, pathway integration and program management whilst gaining a solid understanding of how these theoretical concepts work within their practical training onsite within childcare centres.
The Cert III qualification sets up students perfectly for continued education with the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Under the Education and Care Services National Law (2011) the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) publishes lists of approved early childhood education and care qualifications and information regarding regulatory requirements here: www.acecqa.gov.au.
After the successful completion of the program the candidates may gain employment in the Early childhood Education Industry in such settings as Child Care Centre’s, Kindergartens, Preschool programs, After School programs, Family Day Care Centre’s, Play Groups and other community settings and clients’ homes.
